About DC Nexus

Deploying Critical Infrastructure at Speed

DC Nexus is a specialist data centre infrastructure partner focused on the design, engineering, and supply of critical internal environments.

We work with data centre developers, owners, general contractors and operators who need speed and control when delivering critical infrastructure.

Modern data centre projects face increasing pressure to deploy capacity quickly while managing complex power, energy, and infrastructure requirements. DC Nexus exists to change the traditional sequential delivery model.

The Challenge

Sequential Construction Limits Speed

Traditional delivery models rely on sequential construction. Critical rooms and systems are not commenced until the primary structure is complete — creating delays, downtime risk, and compressed commissioning windows. Internal infrastructure delivery is increasingly the limiting factor as data centres scale to support high-density workloads.

Our Approach

Parallel Modular Build

DC Nexus engages early to define requirements, design for modularisation, and enable critical infrastructure to be constructed in parallel. While the main facility is being built on site, modular rooms are designed, engineered, fabricated, and assembled in a controlled manufacturing environment — then delivered installation-ready.

Case Study

Hyperscale Data Centre
Battery Room Delivery

DC Nexus was engaged to design, engineer and supply modular battery rooms for a hyperscale data centre. The rooms were delivered as fully integrated modular environments, fabricated offsite in parallel with the main structure.

Each module was engineered to align with the client's power architecture, redundancy strategy and compliance requirements. By shifting battery room construction offsite and running fabrication concurrently with structural works, DC Nexus enabled critical infrastructure to move ahead of traditional sequencing constraints.

Battery infrastructure completed offsite during primary structure construction

Reduced on-site congestion and multi-trade coordination risk

Simplified main building design by containing complexity within modules

Delivered installation-ready rooms aligned to programme milestones
